All roads lead to Páirc Tailteann on Saturday when Meath's Minor Hurlers lace up their boots for the final time this season.

Carlow provide what is sure to be formidable opposition in the Peadar Lehane Cup Final.

It's a very special day for Longwood as we are represented by two very talented young hurlers in the shape of Malachy Fisher and Conor Dixon. These two fine young men have royal hurling blood flowing through their veins and are maintaining a family tradition of representing Longwood in the green and gold of Meath.

We are all incredibly proud of the lads and wish them every success on Saturday.

A special mention also for Killyon's Dylan Duignan (another future star) who plays with Longwood/Killyon in the Minor club hurling competitions.

So if you are at a loose end on Saturday, why not head into Navan and cheer the boys on? They have given savage commitment to Meath over the past couple of years and hopefully it will pay off at the weekend.
