On a sunny day in Clondalkin, Navan arrived to the Paul Flood Cup Quarter final. The pack provided a brilliant platform for the backs to get their names on the score sheet.
Áine Castles snatched her first of two tries of the day after four minutes. Workrate around the pitch got Emily Jo White, Aoife Ryan, Louise Crinion and Molly Fitzgerald on the score sheet by half time.
The second half saw a revitalised Clondalkin team.
Navan kept working through their phases and found a challenging half from Clondalkin.
Shona White, Molly Fitzgerald and Molly Egan got on the scoresheet.
The team enjoyed success on the day, and the interchange of players in various positions stood to Navan with very good workrate and phase play.
Navan are looking forward to next weekend's challenge against Division One champions, MU Barnhall.
