Our U9 group had an early start Saturday morning, all roads led to Clarinbridge in Galway for a Festival of Hurling which was organised to perfection.

With 12 different clubs taking part in the Tournament, there were clubs from Kilkenny, Tipperary, Cork, Limerick,Galway and Clare.

The standard of the U9 hurling in the Tournament was exceptional from all of the Clubs taking part. We entered 2 even teams 9 a side games, both teams played 6 different clubs throughout the day..

The First Aid Bag was very busy tending to the boys who were suffering from cramp and to boys who had picked up knocks and bruises in the heat of battle throughout the day!

A massive thanks to @ClarinbridgeGaa Club for hosting us on the day. Great hospitality was shown to us throughout the day with food and beverages on constant supply. Thanks also for the delicious homemade ham sandwiches and water melons which went down a treat with the boys!

We would also like to thank all the parents who drove the boys to Clarinbridge  and to all the coaches who helped out.

It's a day that our U9 boys won't forget. They are a great bunch of young hurlers that the Club are very proud of.
