As we enter December hurling across the country is winding down however we have one team still in action at the business end of the championship. Our U21A hurlers have reached the County Semi Final and they will play Eire Og. Eire Og contested the Senior club Munster Final against Ballygunner on Sunday and they have a good representation from that team on the U21A team.
The other semi final took place yesterday and featured Cratloe and Inagh Kilnamona and saw Inagh Kilnamona take the spoils to recah the County Final.
Eire Og have reached the semi final following wins in the group stages against Inagh Kilnamona and Ballyea. The Bridge had a good win against Clarecastle and a narrow defeat against Cratloe to reach the semi final. The Bridge side have a mix of players close to the age grade as well as some of the winning minor team this year and are managed by Martin Conlon. They will be hoping for a top performance against Eire Og to progress to a first County Final since 2014 when the club last won this championship.
All support welcome in the Bridge on Wednesday night. Lets get out and support. BridgeAbú!
