Club Members Christmas night
Our Christmas night in the club is December 12th, this is a night for all members, mentors and volunteers, we will also have our Christmas Drawn which all sections benefit directly from.

U/23 FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP

NAAS        3-18                    RAHEENS            0-20

Naas started strongly and led 2-2 to nil after eight minutes. Raheens fought back and with aid of three two-pointers had reduced the Naas lead  to four points at the interval. Naas 2-9 Raheens 0-11. It was score for score in the second half with Raheens scoring two more two-pointers. Naas led by three with fifteen minutes to go. Naas scored 1-3 without reply to take a nine point lead. The game finished with a Raheens two-pointer.

Naas started strongly with a Neil Ahearne point followed by a Kevin Cummins goal in the second minute. Another Ahearne point followed by a Cummins goal left Naas leading 2-2 to nil after eight minutes. Raheens replied with a Daire Gilmartin  point followed by a two-pointer from Jack Courtney. Naas scored six unanswered points from Tim Ryan, Kevin Cummins (2), Sean Hanifin and a Tom McGrane two-pointer. Naas led 2-8 to o-3 after twenty minutes.  Raheens replied with points from Daire Gilmartin and Paul O’Donnell and a Gilmartin two-pointer. Cummins replied for Naas. Raheens finished the half well with points from Niall Cramer and Gilmartin on the either side of a Courtney two-pointer to leave four between them at the interval. Naas led 2-9 to 0-11.

The sides swapped points at the start of the second half. Points for Ahearne and McGrane for Naas were cancelled out by a Taaffe two-pointer.  Elliott Beirne pointed for Naas but Raheens replied with a two-pointer to leave three between them after twelve minutes of the second half. The teams swapped two points each but Naas finished the stronger with points from Ahearne, Rob Murray, Sean Hanifin and a third Cummins goal. Raheens completed the scorinf with a two-pointer.

Scorers: Naas : Kevin Cummins(3-3), Neil Ahearne (0-6), Tom Mc Grane (0-3, 1tp) Sean Hanifin(0-2), Tim Ryan(0-1), Rob Murray(0-1), Elliott Beirne(0-1), Fintan Quinn(0-1).

Raheens: Jack Courtney (0-7,2tp),Jack Taaffe(0-4,2 tp), Daire Gilmartin(0-6, 1tp), Paul O’Donnell (0-2), Niall Cramer(0-1) .

U 8 Girls enjoy their end of Year Party

The u 8 girls exchanged the football for the bowling ball as their mentors organised a fun day of bowling fun. The girls had a busy schedule during the season, training and participating in Fun Blitzes . A great fun event to end a very enjoyable and exciting year for all these young, enthusiastic players! A sincere thanks to all their mentors , who have assisted them with their skills development and enjoyment of the sport.
Naas LGFA Calendars

The Naas LGFA Transition Year Group organised this annual Fundraising initiative once again this year; this group is always busy with a project. These calendars feature our Naas ALL Stars and a team and action photographs of all the age groups enjoying their football while representing  their club. This would be a lovely Christmas gift for family and friends, depicting some special photographs of the All Stars and Naas LGFA . The calendars will go on sale on Friday 12th December in the Clubhouse at the Naas LGFA Awards Night and Social event.€10 cash or card payment will be accepted. Buy a calendar and support your club. Lots of great memories to enjoy!

U 16 Naas Players Attend Kildare u 16 Medal Presentation

The Naas u 16 representatives on the Kildare u 16 Panel , Amber, Ava, Orla, Lauren and Brooke were presented with their Leinster medals at a special event organised by the Kildare County Board in The Milltown Inn on Sunday afternoon. It was a very successful season for the u 16 Team and congratulations to  all the players and their management team led by their manager James Costello.
U 5 Girls Enjoy their Indoor Training Session

This group of u 5 girls show great enthusiasm and enjoyment at their Sunday morning training sessions , while developing their skills and enjoying their football in a fun environment. Great attendance at all the their sessions and many thanks to all their mentors , who volunteer every weekend to provide this opportunity for all these young players to enjoy their football and make new friends.
Naas Transition Year Group Assist Naas Point

Well Done to the Transition Year group of players , who have organised a collection of foodstuffs to donate to Naas Point , a local charity group who assist families in need within our Naas community. All the age groups have been very generous and the donation of food was sincerely acknowledged by Maud Nolan, a representative of Naas Point. Our Club is reaching out to the community and this kindness makes a difference.

Gaelic for Mother's and Others (G4MO Naas)

Our team travelled to Kill on Saturday November 22nd for their end of year festive blitz 🎄🧑‍🎄The craic on the pitch was followed by lovely food and drinks at the clubhouse. Maith thú to all involved.
 
Naas G4MO training will resume in the new year. New players always welcome.
