As the year draws to a close, we want to extend our warmest wishes to every player, coach, volunteer, supporter, and family member that is involved with our club.
It has been a year of tremendous dedication, fantastic achievement, and unwavering spirit both on and off the pitch. Thank you for your commitment to the blue and white jersey.

Goal Mile
On Christmas Day each year Naas GAA particpates in the Goal Mile, where people walk or run one mile to raise Money for Goal, a charity who provide aid to crisis zones.
This year anyone who register for your GOAL Mile before 12th December, will be entered into a draw to win a Garmin Smartwatch!
AIB are also giving each entrant chance to nominates a GAA club that is registered as a GOAL Mile venue and will host a GOAL Mile in 2025.
GAA organisers will be in with a chance to win €7,000, €2,000, or €1,000 for their club!

St Stephens Day Charity Game
Our Annual St Stephen’s Day game takes places from 12pm on the hill pitch . There will be 30 minutes of Hurling/Camogie and 30 minutes of Football. Over 16s Only. All donations from this years game will go towards Jayes battle with cancer as she moves to Manchester in January to undergo treatment. NAAS 0-15 BALYNA 0-12
Naas defeated Balyna by three points in an entertaining final at Manguard Park in which the sides were level five times during the game. In a closely fought game the teams were level with nine minutes to go. Three unanswered points in the final minutes by Naas joint captains Sean Hanifin and Neil Ahearne saw Naas capture the title.
Balyna opened the scoring with points from Josh O’Donoghue(free) and Shane Flynn . Naas replied with two Ryan Sinkey points. Fintan Quinn pointed for Naas to put them into the lead. Balyna replied with an O’Donoghue point. Sinkey and Quinn had points for Naas to lead 0-5 to0-3. Two O’Donoghue points brought the sides level again at 0-5 each. Two Naas points from Sean Hanifin and Fintan Quinn was answered by a Josh O’Donoghue just before the interval to leave Naas leading 0-7 to 0-6 at the break.
Naas opened the scoring in the second half with a Tom Kelly point. Balyna replied with points from Ronan Scanlon and Conor Flynn. After 35 minutes it was level again at 0-8 each. Naas edged clear with points from Ruairi Waldron and Fintan Quinn. A Josh O’Donoghue brace levelled it again at 0-10 each. Tom McGrane and Josh O’Donoghue swapped points as did Tim Ryan and O’Donoghue. It was 0-12 each with nine minutes to go. Naas finished the stronger with three unanswered points from Sean Hanifin and Neil Ahearne (2).

Underage Awards’ Night
All the girls aged 4 years to 11 years gathered with their mentors and parents in the Hall on Friday evening to celebrate a very enjoyable year ; playing football, developing their skills and having fun with their friends. The hall was awash with colour, some of the girls sporting their club colours and Christmas outfits .It is the annual gathering when the players, their parents and mentors meet for refreshments and enjoy a social chat prior to the presentation of medals to each girl to acknowledge their participation and effort throughout the year. Many Thanks to some of the Minor players ,who presented the medals to all these young, enthusiastic girls , who will be our future stars. A special word of thanks to all the mentors of each team , who volunteer their time and effort to organise a fun environment in the club every Sunday morning for the nursery age group while the u 9 to u 11 girls enjoy participating in the many local blitzes hosted by all the clubs. Wishing all the girls, their parents and mentors a very Happy Christmas and an enjoyable and fun-filled 2026 on the football pitch.
Naas LGFA Calendar Initiative – A Great Success
The sales of the calendar , depicting team and action photographs, have been very successful over the last few weeks. The TY Group of players, who fuelled this initiative, wish to sincerely acknowledge all the support of the members and there are more calendars available for anyone , who hasn’t purchased a calendar yet. A calendar would make a lovely gift and keepsake of 2025. The calendars will be on sale on Monday 15 th December in the Club at 7pm- 8pm.Cash or Card payment available.
Naas Players Selected for Kildare Minor Panel
Congratulations to our Naas players , Emily Gallagher and Lexie Reddington ,who have been called up to the Kildare Minor Panel . We wish them both and the Kildare team every success in their 2026 campaign.
Annual Christmas Draw and Social Night
Many thanks to all , who supported the annual Club Draw ,: all proceeds collected by the Ladies Football Section ,will be used to continue financing the development of Ladies Football in 2026. Congratulations to some of our members , who won some of the fine array of prizes in the draw. A very enjoyable night was had by all , who attended this annual Social night .
