The Schoolboy season kicked off on Saturday with some promising displays but unfortunately no wins.

Celtic U13s put up a good display away to Clonmel Town earning a 1-1 draw. Celtic went behind but Mason Ryan equalised to earn Celtic a well deserved point. The U13 B team were second best to Borris B going down 3-0.

Clonmel Celtic U15s also kicked off their season in the Premier Division. Despite giving as good as they got away to Peake Villa they went down 3-1 to the Thurles side. A ten minute spell before the break when the home side scored twice was to prove Celtic's downfall. Celtic probably shaded the rest of the game with Thaddeus Burns on the scoresheet for Celtic.
