Clonmel Celtic finally picked up their first win of 2026 and in doing so progressed to Round 3 of the FAI Junior. Kyle Cuddy’s goal on 51 minutes was enough to see off North Tipperary outfit Rearcross FC. Celtic well in control in the first half  though an Ewan Bergin effort that went over was the closest they came. The visitors main threat was from set pieces in the first half. After Kyle Cuddy gave Celtic the lead early in the second half the visitors came more into the game. Celtic panicked a little but were able to sustain some late pressure to hold on for a welcome win.
