Na Piarsaigh took the win from Jimmy Pentony park on Saturday evening. The first half was a tight affair with both teams struggling for scores. Caebhan Housidari and a paudi Downey free put the Nicks on the scoreboard. The Naps replied with a goal and two frees before a Shane Finegan two pointer and Alex Finnegan hitting the net late put the home side up by one at the break.
The match turned early in the second half as the visitors found the net twice to extend their lead and ultimately gain the victory. Another Downey free and a point from Tadgh Martin were the only scores St.Nicholas could add to their tally.
