Storm Chandra left it's imprint on soccer fixtures in South Tipperary this weekend with the TSDL taking the option to apply a blanket postponement to all fixtures. In a statement on it's website the league stated:
'Following a TSDL committee meeting held yesterday evening, the decision has been made to postpone all fixtures scheduled for this weekend the 31/01/26 and the 01/02/26. With the recent heavy rainfall and ongoing bad weather, this decision was made to ensure the long-term preservation of our pitches. We want to ensure that playing surfaces remain in the best possible condition for the remainder of the season. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation'
