Did you know this week is Women in Sport Week, a week to celebrate girls and women in sport from players to coaches to volunteers to referees.
The theme is “Same Energy”
Women and girls put the same energy, commitment and passion into sport as boys and men so why shouldn’t they get the same energy in return. Same support, same excitement, same respect, same belief.
Women and girls in sport don’t need special treatment, they deserve equal treatment.
So to all the amazing women and girls in our club who play, coach and volunteer we want to thank you for the energy, passion and commitment you bring to Mullingar Shamrocks. We are so lucky in to have so many incredible females who make Mullingar Shamrocks the club it is today.
