Lá Féile Pádraig Statement

After careful consideration, the Mullingar Shamrocks Club Executive have decided not to take part in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade this year. The majority of our Coaches are heading to Croke Park to support Coláiste Mhuire Mullingar in the All Ireland Post-Primary Schools Final and therefore we would not have adequate Supervision to march in the Parade. We will no doubt be back marching next year.

Next Tuesday is a Special Day for the 11 Players from Mullingar Shamrocks who will be stepping out in Croke Park at 3.00 pm. They have progressed through our Underage Coaching Structure over the last number of years, they are a credit to themselves, our Club and their Families, they have our full support and we wish them well on the day!!
